Paisley Road West

All sewer repair works and emergency water network works on Paisley Road West have now been completed.

The sewer repairs at the junction of Paisley Road West and Govan Road, near Ibrox, were carried out to protect the local wastewater network and prevent further issues arising. Emergency repairs to the water main at the junction of Paisley Road West, Dumbreck Road and Carillon Road have also been successfully completed.

All reinstatement works are now finished and all traffic management measures have been removed.

We would like to sincerely thank the local community for their patience, understanding and cooperation while these essential emergency works were carried out. We recognise that this activity was disruptive, and we are grateful for the support shown, which allowed our teams to complete the necessary repairs and protect local services as quickly and safely as possible.

Keeping you informed

A small piece of additional work is still required on an air valve and is currently being planned for completion over the next few weeks. This work will be carried out overnight and is expected to have minimal impact on the community. A temporary footpath or lane closure may be required, and we will keep this page updated as the works progress and further details become available.
