Paisley Road West
Road Reinstatement Works
Following the completion of emergency repairs on Paisley Road West in April and May, Scottish Water will shortly return to the site to carry out the permanent road reinstatement.
These works are scheduled to begin on Friday 31st July and are expected to take three days to complete.
To allow the reinstatement to be carried out safely, the same section of Paisley Road West will be closed to westbound traffic, from the area before the petrol station and Dumbreck Road through to Kirkwood Street.
- The westbound lane of Paisley Road West will be closed to traffic for the duration of the works, with signed diversion routes in place.
- Local vehicle access to properties on Paisley Road West will be maintained throughout.
- To facilitate access and egress, the existing traffic management arrangement will remain in place. Vehicles exiting onto Paisley Road West will turn right onto the carriageway and follow the signed diversion route, rather than turning left as normal.
We appreciate that these works and associated traffic management measures may cause some inconvenience and would like to thank local residents, businesses and road users for their continued patience and understanding while we complete this essential work.
