Tain High St Sewer Repair

We recently carried out sewer repairs on Tain High Street.

To allow this work to be carried out safely, the High Street was closed to traffic while repairs and reinstatement were completed.

The road was reopened overnight on Wednesday 28 January.

The work involved repairing the sewer and replacing the associated access chamber, followed by reinstatement of the road surface.

We recognise that it took too long to understand and remedy the problem in this case; and apologise for the prolonged disruption experienced by local residents, businesses and road users.

We would like to thank the local community and road users for their patience while this essential work was carried out.
