What we are doing?
We will be upgrading sections of the water network at various locations along Abbotsinch Road and Netherton Avenue. The work is being delivered by McFaddens Civils. To allow the work to be carried out safely, a rolling programme of traffic management will be in place throughout the project. This will include temporary traffic lights, temporary restrictions on sections of footpaths and pedestrian crossing points where required. Full reinstatement of previous temporary footpath repairs as part of the works.
Customers are not expected to experience any interruption to their water supply while the work is being completed. We understand that these works may cause some temporary inconvenience and would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience and understanding while we carry out these essential improvements.
We will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.
