project statys delivery

Project Overview

We are upgrading the wastewater network in Clarkston to help reduce the risk of sewer flooding in the area by increasing the capacity of the local wastewater network and providing extra storage during heavy rainfall.

Roadworks will be required during delivery to allow operatives to carry out the work safely.

Update - July 2026

Work to divert the underground water main is now complete. We thank the community for their cooperation while this first phase of work took place.

The next phase will see our teams install a new wastewater pipeline beneath Moray Drive.

Due to circumstances outwith our control that have delayed this phase of work, we have taken the decision to reopen Moray Drive under a temporary give and take traffic management system from Tuesday 14 July 2026. The road closure will be reinstated on Monday 10 August 2026.

We are grateful to the local community for their ongoing patience and support. Once complete, this investment will significantly reduce the risk of flooding for customers in the area.

Our alliance partner, Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA), is managing this work on our behalf and our operatives are doing everything they can to minimise the impact of these works upon the community.
