Emergency Sewer Repairs
We are currently design a permanent repair to the waste water pipe bridge near The Showcase Cinema, Coatbridge
We are currently carrying out emergency repairs to the 700mm waste water pipe bridge near The Showcase Cinema, Coatbridge.
The overland pumping arrangement that we had originally in place has now been relocated closer to the pipe bridge at a buried manhole we recently identified.
As a result, the pumps previously located on the A8 slip road have been removed.
This has meant that we have been able to reopen the A8 westbound off and on-slip to the A752 Bargeddie.
Our teams are now progressing with a permanent repair, including a new engineering design.
We expect the design process to take approximately two weeks and are working to complete this as quickly as possible.
Pumping operations will remain in place during this time and are currently monitored 24 hours a day.
