What We Are Doing
Element 3 - Ross Drive, Airdrie, ML6 9TX
This element of the project will involve the installation of around 78 metres of new pipe and four new manholes. The work will take place within a woodland area behind residential properties on Ross Drive.
To facilitate construction, an existing gate and a number of trees will need to be removed to provide safe access to the site and allow the new infrastructure to be installed. Once the works are complete, compensatory tree planting and other environmental improvements will be carried out in agreement with the local authority.
For safety and security, the site will be enclosed with Heras fencing and monitored by CCTV, with a small welfare unit also located on site for the workforce.
Construction dates for this phase are still being finalised. Further information will be provided and this page will be updated once arrangements have been confirmed.
