Dovecot Park Aberdour

We are planning to carry out essential maintenance work on the carriageway at Dovecot Park in Aberdour requiring a road closure.

Dovecot Park will be closed to vehicles from 9am to midnight on Friday 16 October 2026 in order to allow operatives to safely replace two defective manhole covers on the carriageway.

Road users are advised to plan ahead to minimise any potential delays. Pedestrian access will be maintained via footpaths.

A letter has been distributed to customers living locally.

These works have been scheduled during the school holidays in order to reduce disruption. However, we appreciate the road closure may cause some delays for those living in Dovecot Park and we thank everyone impacted for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.

Our on-site team will work with the community to minimise the impact on customers and the road closure will be lifted as quickly as possible upon safe completion of the repairs.
