Upgrading the wastewater network

Traffic management is in place for the safety of the public and our operatives

We are carrying out work in Eastriggs to increase the capacity of the network to help prevent sewer flooding and protect the local environment.

Work is underway on Annan Road and traffic management is in place for the safety of the public and our operatives.

During our initial excavations, we identified that more extensive engineering was required and we will therefore be extending the duration of traffic management and road closures until the end of July.

Parking restrictions and diversion routes are in place. A graphic showing the locations of traffic management can be seen in the letter linked below.

Road users are asked to follow all diversion signs and allow extra time for journeys particularly at peak times.

We appreciate that these works may cause disruption and ask for the patience and understanding of everyone impacted while we carry out this essential work as quickly and as safely as we can.

This project is being carried out by our commercial subsidiary, Scottish Water Horizons.
