What is the Priority Services Register (PSR)?

The Priority Services Register (PSR) is a free service that helps us provide extra support to customers who may need it such as those with disabilities, medical conditions, young children, or specific communication needs.

Being on the PSR helps us tailor our support and communicate with you in a way that works best for you.

Why we’re updating our PSR information:

We’re currently refreshing our PSR records.People’s situations can change over time, and some details may no longer be correct. Updating our data helps us make sure we can support you properly when you need us most.

It is essential that personal data held on the our Priority Services Register is accurate, relevant and kept up to date. This is to ensure so we comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

To support this, information must be reviewed and refreshed every 2 years. This includes the requirement for us to confirm customer details, check whether they still require additional support, and update contact preferences.

Keeping information up to date ensures we can give you the right level of support, communicate effectively, and respond appropriately during interruptions to water or wastewater services.

You can update your own details at any time, ensuring information remains accurate between scheduled refresh activities.

What this means for you:

If you’ve received a letter, phone call or text message from us, we will ask you to:

  • confirm your contact details
  • confirm whether you still need extra support
  • update how you’d like us to contact you

If we don't hear from you, we will remove your details from the PSR. If you are removed but still need to be on it, don't worry, you can sign back up at any point. You can do that by going to Priority Services Register.
